About Your Dentist

Dr. Wilson Aguilar-Garcia was born in Peru and completed dental school in Lima in 1999 with a degree in Prosthodontics. In 2003, he moved to the United States and completed his advanced Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California, where he graduated with honors and received awards in fixed and removable prosthodontics.

He is proficient in English and Spanish, which allows him to explain procedures and treatments in both languages. He can provide comprehensive care in a variety of general and cosmetic dental treatments, including full mouth reconstructions, teeth whitening, dental fillings, root canals, crown and bridge restorations, simple and surgical extractions, and surgical implants and restorations.

Dr. Aguilar-Garcia is also a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Reserve. He joined the Navy after becoming a U.S. citizen and wanted to honor this country’s history of sacrifice to ensure freedom and peace, not only within the borders of the United States of America, but also abroad. On weekends, you can find him at Andrews Air Force Base providing dental care to members of the military, and he hopes to one day serve on one of the Navy’s humanitarian missions around the world.

Dr. Aguilar-Garcia’s philosophy is to always put the patient first, and he truly believes in gentle and painless dentistry.
